Title and status bars

CaseMap provides title bars and a status bar to help you remain oriented while using the program.

Displays the name of the open case, provides the SmartAssist search bar, and the Ribbon Display Options button.

To search for keywords within the case or to direct a search at LexisNexis Research, enter keywords in the SmartAssist bar, then select the search scope.
To control whether the ribbon hides, shows just the tab names, or shows both the ribbon and tab names, click the Ribbon Display Options button (ribbondisplayoptions) and then select an option.

 

Spreadsheet title bar

Displays the spreadsheet name, the name of the view, and a count of the records showing. Is a search was run, the search criteria are displayed beneath the bar.

To share the current view with other case users, click Share View. For more information, see: Sharing spreadsheet views.
To clear the search, click Cancel.
To save the search, click Save.

 

Status bar

Located in the bottom right corner of CaseMap, shows whether spell check is running, and whether the keyboard caps lock and number lock are engaged.

To see the status of the optical character recognition (OCR) or indexing processes, point to their icons. The status displays in the lower left corner of CaseMap.
