Editing index location properties

You can edit the index location path in the Index Location Properties dialog box. The index location must be a UNC path and a network location accessible to all users in any case using the index location. For example: \\server\indexes\my location.

Before editing the path, we recommend that you take all cases linked to this index location offline. Changing the path will not move any existing index data to the new location.
