Description

With data breaches and security incidents happening daily, it is not a matter of IF you will experience a cybersecurity incident, but WHEN. Cybersecurity threats are growing in scale and complexity and virtually every company in all industries face growing cyber risks. As cybersecurity laws and regulations unfold and consumer lawsuits become the norm, cybersecurity remains a top concern for businesses, including the C-suite. Although there is no substitute for strong cybersecurity management, businesses often look to cybersecurity insurance policies as the last line of defense. However, cyber policies are complex, often confusing, and the cyber insurance landscape is still evolving. This 60-minute seminar will provide an update on the current state of Cyber Law, including data breaches and privacy issues; current litigation; cybersecurity laws and regulations; cybersecurity insurance coverage with practical tips on key issues and risks to consider when purchasing a cybersecurity policy; recent trends; and available cyber resources.
