Nexis+ AI™ Insider Program Terms
This Agreement is made on the date you accept these terms and conditions and it is between you (“You”) and LexisNexis, a division of RELX Inc. and its affiliates (“LN”). By participating in this research study (the “Study”), You agree to provide feedback to LN about pre-commercial concepts or versions of LN’s products and services including, but not limited to, proposed names for such pre-market products and services, suggestions, ideas, recommendations, requests, responses, or other related information provide by You in any form, without limitation, survey responses, interviews, recordings, and telephone, email, and written correspondences (“Feedback”). You do not claim ownership or interest in the Feedback passed by You to LN, and you assign all such rights and moral rights you have, or may have, in such Feedback to LN. You agree LN is free to republish, reproduce, reformat, distribute, use, incorporate, and implement any Feedback, or any portion thereof, into the development of, and for, any LN products or services, worldwide.
Participation
When you participate in the Study, and agree to these terms and conditions, the Agreement between you and LN is formed, and the term of the Agreement (the “Term”) will begin. The Term will continue for as long as you are a participant in the Study, or until You, or we, terminate the Agreement in accordance with these terms and conditions, whichever happens first. In no event shall You be deemed an employee or agent of LN for any purpose.
Confidentiality
You agree not to discuss with any third-party Feedback related information shared. The foregoing shall remain confidential and proprietary information of LN, and any ideas or suggestions that may arise from Your participation in the Study remain the sole property of LexisNexis. You further agree that the information that LN discloses to You in any survey is also confidential and proprietary information of LN, as is Feedback (collectively, “Confidential Information”). Finally, by participating in this Study, You agree You will: (1) receive and maintain Confidential Information in strict confidence; (2) not disclose Confidential Information to any third party; or, (3) not record, post, and/or publish any audio, picture, or video files related to the subject matter of this Agreement. You understand that disclosure of such Confidential Information will cause irreparable harm to LN. All Confidential Information is and shall remain the property of LN. By disclosing Confidential Information to You, LN does not grant any express or implied ownership or warranty rights to You. LN reserves, without prejudice, its ability to protect its rights under this Agreement.
Recordings
You understand and consent to LN recording you, processing your information, and using Your information and Feedback. You relinquish any rights (including copyright and moral) to any recording, and you understand any recording and Feedback may be copied and used by LN without further compensation to, or permission from, You as set forth herein.
Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please take a moment to read our Privacy Policy (https://www.lexisnexis.com/global/privacy/privacy-policy.page) for information regarding how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information and protect Your privacy when participating in the Study.
Responsibilities
LN shall not be liable for any damages arising from Your acts or omissions while participating in the Study. You will be liable, and will indemnify LN, for Your acts, omissions, or any violations of acceptable use requirements regarding third-party products or services used while participating in the Study, without limitation, those found at www.qualtrics.com/acceptable-use-policy. The laws of the State of Ohio, United States of America, shall govern this Agreement without regard for conflict of law principles.
You confirm that You have read and agree to the above terms and conditions, You voluntarily agree to become a participant of the Study, and Your participation, and acceptance of any gifts provided by LN, is in compliance with all applicable conflict of interest laws, regulations, and rules of Your employer. You understand that You can opt out of the Study, at your convenience. If you have any questions about our terms and conditions, You can contact us research@uxresearch.lexisnexis.com.
