Lap Tak is a highly accomplished legal professional with an impressive educational background and a diverse range of qualifications. He obtained his LLB and PCLL from the University of Hong Kong and has since acquired four master's degrees in various fields, including commercial law, business administration, professional accounting, and professional English. Additionally, he holds qualifications as a chartered secretary, a corporate governance professional, and certifications in language studies and banking.
Lap Tak has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, guiding his team in handling complex transactions involving multinational clients and legal jurisdictions. He played a pivotal role in expanding the firm's client portfolio, securing engagements with listed issuers such as Asia Television and Chabaidu. Notably, he represented Zhejiang Huayou Cobal's subsidiary in acquiring a 50.15% interest in a company with ferronickel production operations in Indonesia.
Beyond his professional achievements, Lap Tak is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of legal professionals. He acts as a mentor, and during his professional work, he attempts to provide standardized workflow and procedures and templates as far as practicable to inexperienced new members, which are found to be particularly effective and helpful.
