Salary: $147,649 - $221,900 per year

The Justice Access Counsel is responsible for the collections and analysis of stakeholder feedback and providing evidence-based recommendations and expert advice on nationwide operations of agency programming to the Office of the Director and EOIR senior executives.

Typical work assignments will include:

  • Develops written descriptive and background reports, compilations, surveys, comparisons of laws, statements of policy and other written products on issues of national or international significance, and the operational and administrative functions of the agency.
  • Advises EOIR leadership on stakeholder engagements and data analysis to inform evidence-based decision-making and provides advice and guidance across EOIR.
  • Consults with senior executives, EOIR program and functional offices, and immigration courts to promote alignment of operational/mission efforts. Facilitates enhancement of EOIR's public facing image.
  • Collects stakeholder feedback and Agency data and analyzes operations to develop recommendations for the Office of the Director and other EOIR senior executives.
  • Evaluates EOIR's public-facing systems and makes recommendations for development and implementation of best practices surrounding human-centered design.
  • Collaborates with EOIR senior executives to identify challenges and to develop short- and long-term action plans related to the List of Free Legal Services Providers."
