"State Department Spokesman Ned Prices announces that Afghans eligible for the Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) Program, who have been vetted and are closes to finishing their processing will be temporarily housed at Fort Lee in Virginia. Mr. Price declined to give an exact number or say whether the State Department or the Defense Department would cover the costs. Twenty-five hundred applicants are currently eligible for the SIV program and the first relocations are expected before the end of July."
