"U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) invites you to participate in a stakeholder engagement on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. (Eastern) to discuss the agency’s Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) program.

During this engagement, representatives from the USCIS Enterprise Services Directorate’s National Records Center will provide a program overview and suggest ideas for how requestors can better assist USCIS in processing requests. We will also discuss recent and future enhancements, and seek feedback on our FOIA process.

  • Please send an email to FOIASIG.NRC@uscis.dhs.gov, and write “FOIA Meeting” in the subject line. In addition, please include your full name and the name of the organization yourepresent within the body of the email.

Once your registration is processed, you will receive a confirmation email with additional details.

  • You are encouraged to submit questions and agenda items before the engagement. You may do so by sending an email toFOIASIG.NRC@uscis.dhs.gov and attach all questions and agenda items in a Word document or PDF. Write “FOIA Stakeholder Meeting Agenda” in the subject line. Please submit all questions and agenda items by Monday, Aug. 18.
