Kara Hartzler writes: "I wanted to pass on a great decision we got today granting a preliminary injunction in a habeas case in the Arizona district court. The client is an LPR who has been detained for five years and was denied bond on the basis of being an arriving alien. Today the district court granted his motion for a preliminary injunction and ordered ICE to grant him a bond hearing within 60 days. This was a joint effort between the NIJC and the Florence Project, but kudos should really go to my co-counsel, Claudia Valenzuela of NIJC, who's been plugging away at this case for years."
