TRAC Upcoming Webinars: New Data Tracking ICE Prosecutorial Discretion
(13 Feb 2012) The Latest data tracking ICE prosecutorial discretion show that new filings seeking deportation orders in Immigration Court from October - December 2011 fell dramatically. Also, no evidence is found that ICE emphasis has shifted yet to deporting serious convicted criminals. TRAC is conducting two webinars to discuss these and additional findings, as well as data obtained by TRAC from the Immigration Courts and ICE itself. Court-by-court, nationality-by-nationality trends will also be covered.
Topic: Drop In Deportation Orders Discussing the historic drop in the share of Immigration Court deportation orders during the last quarter and the jump in orders granting relief. When: Wednesday, February 15, 2012, 2:00 PM EST To register, email contact information to TRAC with this link: mailto:trac@syr.edu?Subject=Webinar_20120215
