"The Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) invites interested parties to attend a regional stakeholder meeting regarding internet-based hearings. During the regional stakeholder meeting, senior officials from the Office of the Chief Immigration Judge with oversight of the specific region will clarify the agency’s use of internet-based hearings, particularly in light of Director’s Memorandum 22-07, issued in August. The meeting will include a questions and answers session. Internet-based hearings are hearings in which one or more participants do not physically appear in immigration court. EOIR expects internet-based hearings to continue to be integral to EOIR’s operations and remains committed to ensuring all hearings, regardless of hearing medium, are uniform and just for all participants. The regional stakeholder meetings will be conducted via Webex. To register, please click on the link next to the date of your desired meeting.
