Court Blocks H-2B Rule

April 27, 2012 (1 min read)

"The court thus finds that the plaintiffs have satisfied all of the elements required for the issuance of a preliminary injunction and that an order prohibiting enforcement of the rules regarding “Temporary Non-Agricultural Employment of H-2B Aliens in the United States,” as set forth at 77 Fed. Reg. 10,038, is appropriate. Accordingly, it is hereby ORDERED that plaintiffs’ motion for a preliminary injunction (doc. 2) is GRANTED. The defendants are hereby enjoined from enforcing the subject rules pending the court’s adjudication of the plaintiffs’ claims." - Bayou Lawn & Landscape Services v. Solis, Apr. 26, 2012.
