New Arbitration State Law Comparison Tool Content
The State Law Comparison Tool for Civil Litigation, Labor & Employment, and Commercial Transactions on Practical Guidance now includes a topic for Arbitration Q&A content, helping attorneys navigate complex arbitration issues not only once a dispute arises, but also pre-dispute during contract negotiations and drafting.
Currently, Arbitration Q&A materials are available across 40 states (50-state + Washington, D.C. + Federal coverage by end of year) covering five key arbitration questions, including (1) whether continued employment is sufficient consideration for arbitration agreements; (2) fee/cost allocation rules; (3) unconscionability standards; (4) pre-dispute agreements to arbitrate state law claims; and (5) third-party beneficiary enforcement.
