40,000+ Cases Added to Lex Machina and Litigation Analytics

Lex Machina has expanded its Civil Rights Practice Area to include cases with First Amendment claims. This expanded case set includes more than 40,000 cases. This release marks the final stage in Lex Machina’s achievement of full civil rights coverage. The First Amendment Cases join the civil rights datasets already available on the platform:

• ADA (113,000+ cases);
• Police Action (79,000+ cases);
• Education (16,000+ cases);
• Fair Housing Act (9,000+ cases); and
• Voting Rights (2,000+ cases).

Litigators are now able to access unprecedented new data and analytics to help them uncover strategic insights for the cases they care about. They can get quantified insights about the judges, courts, law firms, attorneys, and parties, just as they can for other practice areas in Lex Machina. This case set is now available in Litigation Analytics, too.
