Updates to News Filters, Name segment for Law Reviews & Journals and more added to Lexis Advance®
Check out the latest updates to the Lexis Advance service.
Enhanced distinction between the Location and Geography post-search filters in News and Scientific content.
- The Location filter will be renamed Location by Publication to reflect where the source is published.
- The Geography filter will be renamed Geography by Document, reflecting the topic of the documents related to the geography filter selected.

The Name segment is now searchable for Law Reviews & Journals. This segment searches solely for the primary author of the article complementing the existing “Author” segment, which also searches for contributors and acknowledgments.

Docket numbers will now be included with the new “notice of appeal filed” case history.
A new pre-search filter for Content Type and Industry navigation has been added to the Lexis Practice Advisor® service.
