Nexis Newsdesk™ Tip of the Month: Deleted Content: Search Feed Safety Net

A welcome hallmark of spring is the ever-useful spring-cleaning project. You can do the same with your  Nexis Newsdesk search feeds that no longer needed for you or your users. You can easily delete a feed by clicking the down arrow to the right of the selected feed you wish to purge.

Once you select Delete feed, a helpful pop-up window will surface to let you know if this search feed is being used elsewhere on Nexis Newsdesk, such as an analysis, dashboard, newsletter or even an RSS feed.

If you expunge a feed that you still need, do not fret, as there is a safety net. At the very bottom of the Saved Content, is Deleted Content.

The searches you delete remain there until you decide to either officially delete them for good, or restore them to your other saved searches.
