Knowledge & Research Consultant Research Tip : Narrow Your Results to a Specific Motion Type or a Combination of Motion Types

The Briefs, Pleadings and Motions content type on Lexis+ includes a Motion Type post-search filter that allows you to narrow your results to a specific motion type or a combination of motion types.

When using Search within Results, a Segment drop-down allows you to restrict results to materials that contain your search terms only within particular segments of the document. Search within Results also includes the ability to specifically Include or Exclude terms. This makes it easier to refine your results to relevant motions or briefs that fit your search criteria.
