New Context Company Analytics: a unique content mix and first of its kind “news story lines” analytics
The new Context Company Analytics is the only tool that combines legal, financial and news data providing legal professionals with the fastest, most comprehensive way to gain market insights and corporate company intelligence. Specifically, the company analytics module helps attorneys and legal professionals in litigation planning and discovery, in better serving their clients by understanding and anticipating needs, and for prospecting purposes.
Context Company Analytics use advanced machine learning and language analytics to cross-reference a company’s litigation history, financial data, people and news events over the past five years. More than 2.5 million company profiles are available encompassing all public companies in the United States, foreign companies with U.S. litigation, executives/board members, financial or company logistics, and all private companies that have litigation.
After searching by company name, the results are organized in four convenient tabs.
The Overview tab includes a fact sheet, corporate hierarchy, litigation events by representation, court and practice area, stock performance and more.
The Analytics tab includes two sub-tabs: Litigation and News Storylines. Litigation analytics provide cases involving a company with direct links into the case. Use filters to refine further.
The News Storyline identifies news trends affecting a company. News analytics surface key litigation-related events in a company’s timeline drawing from legal news in Lexis Advance®, Law360® and other news sources. Further refine to a set of news stories, related litigation documents and case opinions. Create a full or custom report via the Create Report link on the top right.
The People tab makes it easy to find the name, position and email of a company’s executives and board members.
The Documents tab provides comprehensive search results on a company across content on the Lexis Advance service. Use the many helpful filters on the left to refine results.
The Company Analytics module has been added to your existing Lexis Advance subscription, which already includes Judge, Expert Witness and Courts Analytics modules, at no additional cost.
