Loyd Auerbach - Knowledge & Research Consultant

Loyd Auerbach is the Knowledge & Research Consultant for California, Texas, Washington, Colorado, Arizona, and Oregon.

Loyd has extensive experience in the legal industry. He previously worked for LexisNexis for over 20 years in various roles including as a training consultant and practice area specialist primarily working with firms in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Loyd is a member of the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL), NOCALL (Northern California), SCALL (Southern California), DALL (Dallas), HALL (Houston), LLOPS (Puget Sound, WA), and AzALL (Arizona).

Before rejoining LexisNexis, Loyd gained a diverse experience with several law firms as a contract librarian and researcher, in the library at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and as a public speaking coach and professional speaker. He is a published author and a professional chocolatier.

He is an adjunct professor at Atlantic University.

Loyd received his Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Anthropology from Northwestern University, and his Master of Science degree in Parapsychology from John F. Kennedy University.
