So, You Think You Are Prepared for Compliance? Think Again, Survey Shows
A recent survey shed slight on how prepared companies really are to comply with state data privacy laws taking effect in 2023. While 90% of respondents felt very or moderately prepared, less than half said their companies have completed critical tasks toward meeting their new obligations, including conducting data mapping, performing data assessments, and establishing metrics and deadlines to track compliance.
