And the Banking Hits Just Keep on Coming . . .

It has been an eventful few weeks (to say the least). On March 8, 2022, Silvergate Capital Corporation (parent company of Silvergate Bank) decided to voluntarily liquidate. Subsequently, Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) (3/10/23) and Signature Bank (3/12/23) were placed into FDIC receiverships. On March 17, 2023, SVB Financial Group (the former parent of SVB) filed a mega Chapter 11 in the Southern District of New York.
