Nevada Governor Signs Driver License Bill

"Friday, Governor Brian Sandoval signed Senate Bill 303 into law, allowing undocumented immigrants to apply for a driver authorization card.  The card is not a form of identification but it gives them the ability to drive legally.  First, they have to take a class, pass a test, register their car and get insurance.  Those that worked on this bill say it's a win-win for all Nevadans.  The governor and lawmakers in attendance say it is a matter of public safety. ... The law takes effect January 1, 2014." - KTVN, May 31, 2013.
