Immigrant Contributions to Housing Demand in the United States

"The overall conclusion reached in this study for the current decade is that immigrant demand for owner-occupied housing is likely to continue to provide an important and growing source of new demand in most areas than in the past decade. The foreign-born make a sizable contribution, not simply through their added numbers in the population but also through their expanding homeownership as they reside longer in the United States." - Research Institute for Housing America, Feb. 2013.
