Parties "Optimistic" of Settlement in NYLAG v. BIA (Unpub. FOIA)
"Plaintiff seeks the publication of unpublished decisions issued by the Board of Immigration Appeals (“BIA”) — both historical opinions that the BIA has already issued and opinions that the BIA will issue in the future. ... On October 12, the parties met and conferred, and Defendant articulated a broad framework of what it envisions a settlement entailing. In light of these discussions, the parties are optimistic that a settlement will be possible."
