EOIR Proposed Rule: Good Cause for a Continuance in Immigration Proceedings

"The Department of Justice (“Department” or “DOJ”) is proposing to define “good cause,” in the context of continuances, adjournments, and postponements, in its immigration regulations. DATES: Written or electronic comments must be submitted on or before December 28, 2020. Written comments postmarked on or before that date will be considered timely. The electronic Federal Docket Management System will accept comments until midnight Eastern Time on that date."
