Three Florida residents have filed a lawsuit alleging health officials in that state aren’t notifying disabled and low-income residents about Medicaid redeterminations. Spike in Workers’ Post-Pandemic Mental Health Needs

Roughly 77% of the employers who participated in the Business Group on Health’s 2024 Large Employer Health Survey reported an increase in the mental health needs of their employees. Last year 44% of employers reported such an increase. (POLITICO)

ChatGPT 72% Accurate at Clinical Decision-Making

A new study found that ChatGPT was accurate at clinical decision-making 72% of the time. The study, published in the Journal of Medical Internet Research, explored ChatGPT’s accuracy at differential diagnoses, diagnostic testing, final diagnosis and management based on patient age, gender, and case acuity. The technology performed best at making final diagnoses, with an accuracy rate of 77%, and was least effective at generating initial differential diagnoses, with an accuracy of 60%.
