LAW PreDiscovery OnDemand Introduction course  

Description: The LAW PreDiscovery® Introduction course in an OnDemand training designed to give participants an informative and interactive introduction to how LAW helps legal professionals and their service providers meet increasing demands in the discovery of printed and electronic documents.  The training also provides participants with information about LAW Support Tools that can assist them with the software once they return to their office.

LAW PreDiscovery 101: Fundamentals

Class Information: This foundational class will prepare you for your first experiences with the electronic discovery process and for all other LAW PreDiscovery classes offered on LexisNexis University.

Description: If you have any role in the electronic discovery process or system administration, it’s imperative to understand how your daily tasks will be enhanced by the software you use. If you are new to LAW PreDiscovery, this class is the right place to start. Learn how LAW PreDiscovery fits into the overall discovery process and how to handle basic electronic discovery.

• The LAW PreDiscovery Interface
• Creating a New Case
• Importing Files into the Case
• Reviewing the Import Session
• Batch Processing
• Addressing Import and TIFF Conversion Errors

NOTE: We strongly recommend attending this class to prepare for additional LAW PreDiscovery classes. It’s included with your certification class(es) at no additional cost. However, if you have been using LAW PreDiscovery for at least 3 months and are confident in your basic electronic discovery skills, you may wish to progress to certification level classes immediately. After registering for your selected certification bundle, you will receive a confirmation email that includes a link to an opt-out test for LAW 101.

LAW PreDiscovery 201: e-Discovery Processing Certification

Class Information: This certification will immerse you in resolving complex requirements and scenarios you will encounter daily when processing electronic discovery (previously known as LAW PreDiscovery EDD – Certified User).

Description: Experienced electronic discovery processors will tell you it’s never cut and dry! On any given day, you will filter, handle quality control procedures, change ED loader settings, and manage tiff conversion settings. You will solve common problems including file encryption, text extraction failures and image conversion errors. Without a deep understanding of these common situations, you are at risk of producing results that don’t meet the strict requirements you’re given. Come to this hands-on instructor-led class ready to elevate your electronic discovery knowledge and prove your worth with a recognized industry certification.

Class Information: This certification will elevate your standing to an expert in LAW PreDiscovery Administration (previously known as LAW PreDiscovery Certified Administrator).

Description: If you’ve been tasked with Administrator duties like installing LAW PreDiscovery, maintaining cases and licensing, this is the right industry-recognized certification for you. Every firm and service provider needs Certified Administrators to avoid the frustration of frequent technical errors and missed opportunities that result from improper hardware, software and network setup.
