Since the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) was created following the financial crisis, the agency has become more active in terms of supervision and enforcement in a variety of areas. There have been several high profile enforcement actions which underscore the risks associated with relevant regulations.

This session will focus on consumer financial product areas which are a focus of the CFPB including student loans, mortgage servicing, consumer credit/lending, small dollar lending, consumer reporting, money transmission, virtual currency, prepaid cards and debt collection.
