The following terms and conditions are excerpts from the Subscription Agreement signed by your school. The terms and conditions govern your use of the LEXISNEXIS services (the "Online Services") and the materials available therein ("Materials").

1. LICENSE: RESTRICTIONS ON USE

You are granted a nonexclusive, nontransferable, limited license to access and use for educational research purposes the Online Services and Materials from time to time made available to you.

2. ACCESS TO SERVICES

Only individuals authorized by the subscribing organization ("Subscriber") may access and use the Online Services. Materials and features may be added to or withdrawn from the Online Services and Online Services may be otherwise changed without notice.

3. AUTHORISED USERS

Under no circumstances should access to LEXISNEXIS ACADEMIC or LEXIS.com be provided to any alumni of any subscribing institution, sub-unit, department, school etc. Such access is in violation of the licensing agreement and can result in the revocation of access to the entire institution. This prohibition includes, but is not limited to, the restriction that library web sites should not point or otherwise allow access to unauthorized users.
