Identifying cases for OCR

If you have CaseMap version 10 cases registered with the CaseMap Server that have linked documents that require OCR processing, you can run the Find Cases Needing OCR tool to identify these cases. The tool lists each case and how many documents and pages that require OCR processing.

1.In the CaseMap Server pane, click SQL Cases.
2.On the Action menu, click Find Cases Needing OCR.
3.In the Find Cases Needing OCR dialog box, on the Output tab, review the list of cases.

If all cases are already OCR processed, a message displays: None of the cases need OCR.

Click the Errors tab to review any cases to which the tool could not connect in order to determine if there are documents that need OCR.

4.Click Close when you are finished.
